[[Luk 24:51]] KJV And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

Jesus is one Person history cannot be complete without mentioning. He is the center of time

(BC and AD – Before Christ, thus before His divine birth, and After His Death). No one through all history can be likened to the Son of God.

There are those that do not believe in Jesus. But the truth is that they cannot deny His authenticity because apart from the Bible, His footprints indelibly are marked in history itself. Others also believe in other religious leaders, and they try even to equate them to Jesus. Like what the angel told the disciples; they seek the living among the dead *(Luke 24:5).

The most powerful proof of who Jesus is includes the miracles He performed, His birth and death that were supernatural, but His ascension before the very eyes of His disciples was the BIG one. Our opening text clearly unveils that “…while he (Jesus) blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.” He literally ascended from among them on the earth into the heaven. Afterall, He said before His death that He “came down from heaven *(John 6:38).” And He went back before their very eyes.

No wonder His disciples who were full of fear because their Master was murdered suddenly became bold and irresistible after the ascension: they saw the unseen! Glory!

As a believer in Jesus, you must be full of joy and hope because you are not trying to find the way to God: you are with Him and He in you. But most importantly are those good and sincere people who are lost. We must be bold about our faith and tell the untold. Heaven rejoices when men come to the truth of the knowledge of Christ *(Luke 15:10). We don’t have time. Cease every opportunity: save every soul possible. Be His witness. Tell the untold!

Gracious Lord, thanks for your love you demonstrated to me through Christ. I receive the boldness and grace to tell the world about Christ. I choose to be a roadblock to hell leading men to Christ. Thank you Lord for the privilege to be your witness. Love you Lord.
