[Rev 7:17]] KJV For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
The above scripture is a beautiful story of the life of believers in glory after our stay here is on earth. It’s important for every child of God to appreciate that our life here on earth is not permanent. This notwithstanding is no excuse to life a mediocre life. We are here to live life to the full. Jesus said;
[AMP] John 10:10 …I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
However, we must bear in mind always that we don’t belong here. The men of faith who walked with God had such mindset. They confessed that they were pilgrims and strangers. Most of them like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon, just to mention a few, were heavily rich. But they also knew that they were pilgrims. Hebrews 11:13 says “These all…were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”
Our opening text reminds us that in our life after here, the Lord shall feed us Himself, He shall lead us to the fountains of water, and He shall wipe away every tear. Glory! So live large for the Master while you are here. And work very hard for Him, always know that one day, there’ll be no more tears. Hallelujah!
Father I thank you for your so great salvation and your love towards me, preparing a life full of joy and glory for me. I embrace it and live everyday in hope of this life reserved for me in glory!
