REDEEMED AND PECULIAR

[[Ti 2:14]] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

You are a peculiar person if you are in Christ. To be peculiar means that you are out of the ordinary. Apart from that, as a christian, you are redeemed from all iniquity. God did this in order to purify for Himself a peculiar people.

To be redeemed means to recover ownership of something by paying a sum. The Apostle Paul tell us in 1 Cor 6:20 that we are “bought with a price.” In order words, God has regained ownership of you. Satan and his demons have no claim over you anymore. No curse can hold you back. YOU ARE NOT AND CANNOT BE under a curse be it generational or whatever. The reason is because you have been bought out of Satan’s influence and control.

In Greek ‘lutroo,’ redeem, actually means to release on receipt of ransom. And the Holy Ghost is “the earnest (receipt) of…the purchased possession (you)” (Eph 1:14). So anytime Satan or a preacher tries to bring you back into bondage of what God redeemed you from, show forth the receipt of your full payment. You do this by activating the power of the Holy Ghost from with you. Speak forth God’s word about who you are in Christ boldly and speak in other tongues, and everything Satan tries to cast on you will fall flat! Glory!

Confession:
I am redeemed in Jesus’ name. My sins are fully paid for. I cannot be under any curse. I belong to the family of God. Am a partaker of divine inheritance! Am full of life in Jesus’ name!
