Heb 3:15 KJV While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
The word of God is the greatest blessing to ever receive. The word of God is able to build us up and bring us into the place where God has destined us to be.
However, the word of God comes to do three very important things in our lives. 2 Timothy 3:16 let’s us know that the word of God is for reproof, correction and instruction in right way of doing things (righteousness).
In other words, when God’s word come to us, it corrects somethings in our lives, reproofs us, and gives us instructions. But we have a responsibility to respond to these corrections swiftly. When we fail to so do, must may miss out on the grace to respond at another time.
This is why our opening text admonishes us not to harden our hearts when we hear the word. At the time the word of God comes to us, there’s grace to help you do what it says. Today, gladly respond to what God tells you to do. Desist what the things and associations He tells you to. Take advantage of the grace available now, and walk into greater glory. Hallelujah!
Thank you Father for your word. I joyfully respond to your word. I allow your word to influence my decisions and actions in Jesus’ name.
