[[Phi 4:8]] AKJV Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

The mind is a very powerful part of man. It defines our lives. The mind actually is the battlefield where spiritual warfare take place. Spiritual warfare is not engaging spirits in battle but rather a fight against the wrong thoughts in the mind. Jesus already conquered all principalities and powers. Now we must keep our victory by keeping our mind.

Paul put it this way, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” He added, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” *(2Co 10:4,5). Here we see clearly that the strong holds we cast down in spiritual warfare are imaginations, every high thing (theories) and thoughts.

In spiritual warfare, Satan will bombard your mind with the wrong thoughts. He’ll try to make you think the wrong thoughts. He knows that so long as you think wrong about yourself, you’ll end up the same way. Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” What has your mind has your life. This is why it’s critical for us to control our thoughts.

Our opening text gives us what to think about: whatever is pure, honest, true, just, lovely, and has good report. Resist thoughts that seek to limit you, make you feel inferior, and contradicts God’s word concerning you. Reject negative thoughts. Always know that your mind will bring into your life what you allow it to think about. Think love. Think prosperity. Think health and healing. Glory to God! And they’ll flood your life. Hallelujah!

I’m a man of great wisdom. I think the right thoughts. My mind is dominated by the word of God. I’m full of success. I live in super abundance in Jesus’ name.
