[[Mat 11:12]] KJV And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
The kingdom of God is in a state of emergency. The kingdom suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. In this generation, people who will accomplish great feats for the kingdom of our God and enjoy it’s blessings are those who will be forceful and violent with the kingdom. This does not suggest funatism; violent here connects with zeal. People who will take and posses God’s kingdom must have ardent zeal and passion for God.
We live in a generation where everyone stands for something. People are bold about what they believe. Evil men are not ashamed of their evil deeds. They glorify witchcraft, homosexuality, lesbianism, ocultism, and the rest in broad day light. Kingdom ambassadors must come out from hiding and lift up the banner of our God. “The violent take it by force” means the gentle shall lose it. The days of trying to be nice are over. Stand for what you believe even if people call you names.
The Amplified version says, “And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize—a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion] *(AMP). A share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion. If you want to experience kingdom blessings, you must be violent: demonstrate ardent zeal in your walk with God.
Be passionate about God. Be enthused about soul wining. Let prayer consume you. And lift up the banner of the kingdom of our God wherever you go as a good ambassador. God delights in our zeal. So serve the Lord with all your might. Glory to God!
Dear God, I love you today. I receive the grace to demonstrate and lift up kingdom banner everywhere I go. I pray that you ignite kingdom fire in me, burning with passion for you alone.
