[Psa 27:14]] AKJV Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Waiting on the LORD in prayer and fasting produces great blessings in our lives. It’s usually difficult to wait on the LORD especially in a world where everything is moving too fast. It takes a lot of faith and courage to wait on the LORD. This explains why the Psalmist admonished us in the above to “be of good courage.”
As we wait on the LORD, He strengthens our heart. Cardiovascular diseases and heart weaknesses are dealt with as we learn to wait on God in prayer and fasting. Again, as we wait on the LORD, He helps and protects us. The Psalmist puts it this way; “Our soul waits for the LORD: he is our help and our shield” *(Psa 33:20). Glory!
Evil abound these days. Wicked men employ satanic powers to frustrate and suppress others. But the Bible says as you “Wait on the LORD… he shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it” *(Psa 37:34). Waiting on God will ensure your elevation in the land (family, business, community, and wherever you find yourself). You see good days when wicked men are cut off. Glory to God!
This is why it’s important for you to train yourself to wait on the LORD. Make time to pray and fast. When the pressure is on and all kinds of challenges seem to overwhelm you, don’t fret. Wait on God. Don’t be moved. Your elevation is coming. Hallelujah!
Dear God, I wait on you. I trust in you. You are my hope and strength. You are my shield and the lifter of my head. I wait on you.
