[Pro 16:24]] KJV Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
Words are very powerful. They determine many things. The book of Hebrews show us that the worlds were framed by the word of God through faith *(Heb 11:3). This means words are a creative force. When you speak, you create.
Our opening text emphasized that “Pleasant word are…sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” Here we see that words affect the soul and bones. The soul is the seat of the mind, will and emotions. When your words are pleasant, they affect your mind, will and emotions positively.
Words also have influence on the bones. The bone form our structure. They support you and keep you standing. Speaking the wrong words can break you and your health down. Blood cells are also manufactured in the bone marrow. These blood cells circulate all your body. And the Bible says pleasant words are health to the bones.
You see, speaking the right words transport health to every part of your body. This is why speaking faith-filled words is important. Train yourself always to speak pleasant words. Also chose what you hear. If what you are hearing is not pleasant, refuse to listen. Jesus said, “Take heed therefore how ye hear…” *(Luk 8:18). HOW you hear, WHAT you hear, and what you SAY for others to hear minister something to you or your hearers.
I’m full of good news. I’m anointed for success. I speak the right words. I’m a nice person. I’m healthy. I’m blessed. I’m intelligent. I’m excellent. Glory to God!
