*[[Rom 6:15]] KJV* What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
The bible says “The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law” *(1Cor 15:56). The preaching of the law strengthens sin. Grace on the contrary gives dominion over sin (Rom 6:14). You see, as a child of God under grace you just have to yield yourself unto righteousness. This doesn’t mean fighting sin because sin can’t dominate you. What it means is that allow righteousness to flow through you.
You are the righteousness of God. Holiness is your nature. Doing right is natural with you. The challenge is that most of the time we don’t yield to who we are. Paul says it like this:
*[[Rom 6:19]] KJV* …for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
Stop treating sin as if it’s your master because it’s not. Stop pretending that there are some habits you can’t stop because you can. You are full of righteousness. Just yield yourself and holiness will come naturally to you.
You yield yourself by making a quality decision to let go the wrong habits. Allow the Holy Ghost to led you. Don’t let you flesh lead. Release the New Man from within and be the righteous you’ve always been. Live triumphant over sin. Glory!
Father I thank you for your grace made available to me. I like triumphant over sin through righteousness. I yield myself to the divine nature I have from you under grace. And I live for your glory in Jesus’ name. Glory!
